Privacy policy
Short version: we collect what we need to send you a top, and nothing else.
Who we are
Aanamra (https://aanamra.shop), a small handloom clothing label based in Hyderabad, India. For anything in this policy, write to aanamra.shop@gmail.com or message +91 70320 09208 on WhatsApp.
What we collect
Only what you type into the order form, and only when you press send:
- Your name, WhatsApp number and, if you give it, your email address
- Your delivery address, city, state and PIN code
- The pieces, sizes and quantities in your bag, and any note you add
- The page you sent it from, and the page that referred you there
We do not ask for and never store card numbers, UPI PINs, bank passwords or any other payment credential. There is no payment gateway on this site.
What we do with it
- Confirm your order, tell you the total, and answer your questions
- Pack and courier the parcel, and hand your address to the courier
- Keep a record of the order so we can help you if something goes wrong later
We do not sell your details, rent them, or hand them to anyone for advertising.
Where it is kept
Order details are written into a private Google Sheet that only our team can open, and a copy of the order summary is sent to a private Telegram group that only our team is in. The website itself is hosted on Netlify. Google, Telegram and Netlify process this data on our behalf as service providers.
Your bag
Your bag lives in your own browser's local storage until you send it. It never reaches us, and we cannot see it, until you press send. Clearing your browser data clears it.
Cookies and tracking
We do not set advertising cookies and we do not run third-party trackers or pixels. The only thing stored on your device is your bag, and that is local storage rather than a cookie. Web fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which means Google sees the request for the font file.
How long we keep it
Order records are kept for 3 years, because that is roughly how long a returns, warranty or tax question can reasonably come back to us. Enquiries that never become orders are cleared out after 12 months.
Your choices
- Ask us what we hold about you, and we will send it
- Ask us to correct anything wrong
- Ask us to delete your details — we will, unless we are required to keep an invoice record
- Tell us to stop contacting you, and we will stop

Children
This site is not aimed at children, and we do not knowingly collect details from anyone under 18.
Changes
If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes will be mentioned on our Instagram.
