• Yarn-dyed ikat: the pattern is dyed into the thread before weaving, so it never cracks, peels or fades the way a print does.

Regular fit with a gentle waist shaping and a hip-length hem. Take your usual size; if you are between two, size down — handloom cotton gives a little with wear.

• First wash separately in cold water — handloom dyes settle in the first wash.
• Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle, or hand wash. Turn inside out.
• Mild detergent only. No bleach, no soaking.
• Dry in the shade. Direct sun flattens the colour.
• Warm iron on the reverse. Steam is kinder to cotton than a dry press.
